Merry Christmas!

Yes, I know that yesterday was Christmas, but I spent the day writing in my journal instead of here because my whole family was out here running around. So, that's why I didn't actually post on Christmas day. Kay?

Wow. So much to tell. There's actually two parts to this Christmas story. I'll tell you the smaller part first. Here is what I got for Christmas!

• A MERLIN CALENDAR. Beat that, Jade.
• Heartland season one part one/2 disks!!!
• Heartland season one part two/2 disks!!!!!
• 4 webkinz; a raccoon (Christmas), elephant (Holly), lil'kinz black poodle (Elf) and a lil'kinz lion that Nisha named Merlin for me. She made a certificate and everything!
• An every day calendar (the one where you get to see a new kitten every day!)
• This really cool hat that's not really a hat, it's like ear-warmers, and it's yellow, but it's really cool...
• A totally awesome cloth bag with fabric beads for the strap
• $10 Empire Theaters money
• $20 from my grandparents :)
• $50 from mum ad dad!! Holy cow!
• A really really cool journal that I really want to start, so I'm trying to finish my old one by Dec 31st (only 21 pages left!)
• Mom got a picture of me from Guys and Dolls, where I look totally dramatic, and she blew it up for me. :)
• A glass frame for my picture of me
• KITTEN MITTENS! Those super nice ones from Boathouse? Yeah, I got the black cat ones. They are so warm!
• I got a sweet tee-shirt from BillaBong, and a white tannk top, and also a really long beige zip-up sweater.
• A whole bunch of makeup from my awesome sis; blue, black, "girl power" eyeliner, two cases of eyeshadow, two lip glosses, but one is in the shape of lip-smackers, makeup remover cloths, a face mask, and a really cool case to keep it all. Oh, and this super (I need to learn some new adjectives besides "awesome", "sweet", "cool", "nice", and "super") Teal Takeoff nail polish that's really bright blue.
• My cousin in England got me a pretty flower skirt than makes me look super skinny and curvy! Love it!

That's all that I can think of right now, so yeah. And you know what? None of these are my favourite gift. Because there's one more, and my best friends and my youth leader got it for me. It's something I'd been asking for for at least half a year; a purity ring. True Love Waits. It was so ah-mazing! I have it on right now. I only take it off to sleep. Well, and to, like, take a shower, wash my hands, etc. And you know the best part? I became a Christian! Scott asked me if I wanted to become one, and it's actually a thrilling tale, but I already spealed to my diary, and it is quite personal, so I'll just day this; I've never felt so loved in all of my life. I know that God will always be with me, and He will be on my side no matter what, as long as I'm true to him. He loves me. :) :) :) :) ♥

Yup, well, that was my Christmas! See you next year! (Just kidding, I'll probably see you tomorrow.)

Computers and Echoes

Guess what..? I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK! Awesome, huh? I just set it back up -- your the second site I've visited (sorry, but YouTube always comes first). I'm can't wuite put my finger on it, but something is diferent about this computer. I don't know if the screen shrunk, or if Google Chrome was updated or what, but the screen doesn't look...exactly...like it..used to. I dunno. It's bugging me that I can't figure it out, but otherwise, the screen is way easier on the eyes!

Anyway.

Four days 'til Christmas! This year it's going to be a little different for me I think, because now I actually know that there is a God and Jesus really did exist and that's what this holiday is about. It'll put the day into a new light, you know?

Anyway. Again.

Anyway, did you figure it out yet?

YES! We got another kitten! I can't tell you from where, in case my dad reads this...he might hunt them down! But. She had a black coat with a tabby brown/silver/blueish undercoat, and under, on her chest, is a coat of blue-silver. She's sooooooooooooooooo cute!!!! and she'll just curl up in your lap and fall right to sleep. We named her Echo. Cute name or what?

Well, actually, I suppose that I should go and check on her...you know, make sure she didn't escape through the vents...

Still Dead

Yeah, so when i got home yesterday, my computer was G to the O to the N to the w -- I mean E. My mom took it in to get it de-bugged. It had something like 2000 viruses. Yeah. I swear, if wasn't me! Okay, well, it could have been, but it wasn't! I gotta go, just updating ya. But also, this means that I won't have a new State of the Union unil my computer is fixed...
It also means that I can't watch YouTube! Or Merlin! Noooooooooooooooooo!!!
Sigh. Wish me luck -- I think I have a music test next.

Stupid Computers!

Errg! Okay, the reason I haven't posted in, like, forever, is that my computer is no mor. What I mean to say is, it's dead. Beat. Kah-pooy. Bashed. Broken. GONE! I can't even use it for homework, because it won't turn on! Noooo! (I'm opn the internet at school right now -- it's lunch.)
Sigh. I need a computer, or I will go insane!!
So, remember how I was saving up for a lap top? Well, Guess what? I'm not getting one, because I found something even better -- iMac. Yup! I've just been researching it like twenty seconds ago, and I know it's what I want. I'll get the 21.5 ince screen one. It's only... $1200! Jeepers, that's a lot of cash! I don't know how I'll ever save up..and that's without tax! Maybe I'll get Philip to buy it for me over in the states (because it's cheeper) and I'll pay him back... I dunno. But what I do know it this -- I NEED a computer, and I need one bad.
Gotta go find Tanisha. I think she's upstairs...
Don't know when I'll post again. Who knows? Maybe it'll befrom my iMac?

Not Anything

So, I've been thinking...what's special about me? I've pondered this for most of the evening, and here is my analysis:

1. My hair isn't brown, but it isn't blond. It isn't long, but it isn't short. Not curly, not strait.

2. My eyes aren't green, but they aren't blue. They aren't big, but they aren't small.

3. I'm definitely not fat, but I'm also not a twig.

4. I don't wear braces, but nor do I have perfect teeth.

5. I'm not always cranky, but I have frequent, unwanted mood-swings.

6. I ain't a girly-girl, but I'm no BID either.

7. My fingernails are okay for the most part, except that I bite the skin around them so that my finguers are always bleeding.

8. I'm super developed (yes, I am talking about that), but I'm not a bra-stuffer *coughcoughkenedycoughcough*

9. I have friends, but I'm not popular.

10. I have--I mean, had-- a stalker, but he was a creeper.

11. I'm not tall, but I'm tall enough to feel tall around my friends.

I have more than that, but I don't feel like writing them. It doesn't matter anyway, because I've come to my conclusion:

1. I have awesomely thick russet-coloured hair, the perfect length for putting back into a pony.

2. I didn't end up with my mom's eyes (I mean, what eyes? Teeny tiny!), and I can wear anything and the colour always matches thanks to my colour-changing irises. Plus, models would kill for my eyelashes!

3. I'm not big enough to be super-self-conscious, and also not skinny enough for fat chicks to give me hate-stares. :) I get enough of those already...

4. Er..I like my teeth..? I've never had to get a filling before. Yea, that's all I've got for that one..

5. Um..I'm working on this one, too. Maybe people like my mood-swings? Hmm...

6. I'm not a BID! And I have great sense of style (according to me) and I don't wear low shirts like a slut. (No offence, Kaitlyn. XD)

7. I'm trying to stop bitting them, and now I've been rewarded; They look a-mazing now. (Well, my nails do, anyway. I'm still working on skin-bitting-rehab...)

8. No comment.

9. The friends that I do have are so totally awe-SOME that I don't need anyone else! ♥♥♥♥

10. He's gone! G-O-N-E! *happy dance*

11. I only really ever notice my friends' shortness when we're looking in a mirror beside one another, so if they stand beside somebody else, so most of the time it slips my mind.

Computers!

Don't you get really annoyed when your computer wont do what you want it to do? Like right now, for instance. I'm trying to make a video using Windows Movie Maker (aka the shittiest program EVER) and it's not working. It keeps freezing! Erg! And I need to finish this for tomorrow. So I have to do it now because, ahb-viously, I'm at school tomorrow. So, yeah. Grr. And also, when Phillip (he's my uncle, by the way, and totally ah-mazing. He's a horse dentist! No, not a vet, a dentist. How hawsome is that?) plugged his laptop into our modem to get access to the internet, guess what? The internet crashed on my computer, and we were both fails at getting it back. (But it did come back, because how else would I be writing?)

Did you ever notice that I use (brackets) a ton? That's kinda fishy, isn't it? It's like I don't really want to say something, but I do anyway...

What was I talking abuot? Oh, right. Computers. Crap, fail computers.

Mum's mad at me. She didn't know where I was. I was a youth group at Morning Gate, and needed to be picked up at 8. I told her that this morning. But she thought that I was downtown at the old church, and when I wasn't there, she (I'm guessing) started freaking out. Kaitlyn's mom was driving me home, because it was half after and I didn't have a drive. Somehow (And I have no idea how) mum got Kaitlyn's mom's cell phone number, and my mom was like "Samm! Where ARE YOU?!" I feel kinda bad, but she knew I was with youth group, so I was safe, and also, I told her this morning where I was going (just because I left out how to get to the church doesn't mean that I didn't tell her!).

Anywho, got LOTS AND LOTS of HW, so I'd better get cracken. I also wanted to finish my book tonight, so see ya!

Before Work

Yup, work! It's take-your-kid-to-work-day at our school! But only for the 9th graders. I'm going with my mom to her Credit union. But I'm not actually working at her usual job...She's getting me to film her workers at their jobs so that the bank that they're going to merge with can get to know everyone here. Cool idea huh? And get this! I might (that's might) be getting paid. But probably not...still, though. Just the thought of that seems pretty cool! Oh, but don't tell anyone that I'm doing this! I'm supposed to do exactly what my mum would normally do, so if my teachers find out I could get in trouble.

Oh, Kaitlyn found somewhere to go - she couldn't go to the Hospital because of H1N1. So, since Nisha's mum works at an elementary school, Kaitlyn slept over there last night, and today she's going to work with the fifth graders. :) Cute!

Oh, well, I guess I'd better go get ready. We go in like, ten minutes. Wish me luck at my job! :)

I am almost officially a YouTube partner! OMG! In approximately 48 hours, ads will start appearing on my videos. And when anyone clicks one, I get money! AND I get to have a cool banner on my Channel! How cool is that?

OMG I'm so excited right now! I'm going to make another video today. Did you know that my most popular video is the one where I just talk about my webkinz that I have? So, I'm going to make a new one. The last one I made was when I was in grade 7, and I only had, like, 5 webkinz. Now I have 27 (I think...) so I'm gonna have a lot to talk about! ♥ I would do it right now, but Alex and Brandon (her bf) are here and I want to wait until they leave. If they do leave. Youth Group Costume Party!

Wow, are my lips pink or what? Tonight was the Halloween party, and we had to dress up. Kaitlyn and I went as twin Goths, but I don't have any better pictures than the one here...or at least, you don't get to see them! Seriously, I have a wayyyy better camera, but that involves uploading and stuff...this was much faster, but sorry about the quality. It's only a 4$ cam, okay?

Anywho, yeah. Kaitlyn and I won second place in this contest thingy and won a whole bag of Kit-Kats to share! But, we're both not eating candy right now, so we split one between us, and I stuffed the rest in my bag so that I can take them to school tomorrow. We'll keep them in Kaitlyn's locker (because ahb-viously I don't trust mine) and we get to eat one a day. If we want to. But I don't think anyone could not want to, if you know what I mean. :)

Okay, well, I know I usually write more, but I have to take a shower, do my homework, and Bones is on in like ten mins so yea. I'll see you later!

Current State of the Union

No, I didn't come up with this. I stle it from The Clique series by Lisi Harrison. But it's totally fun and useful, so I'm using it here.

In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, look to the haut of the page. There, see? There's my title - Qualified Fail - and right below that is...yup, you got it! "Samm's current State of the Union". It says what's in, and what's completely out. Most of these you probably wont get, unless your in my inner circle of besties. Like the yellow pants vs. yelling 'rents today. Those are things only ultimate privileged friends get to know. But other you might understand. Here's a lesson on how to understand the CSU.

1. Read the first In item.

2. Read the first Out item.

3. The first In item matches up with the first Out item, the second In item matches up with the second Out item, etc...

4. Try and figure out how the two matching items fit together.

Ex: In - Hot oatmeal Out - Cold ice cream

Hot oatmeal is health food, ice cream is fatty food.

Get it? And if you're really smart, you'll be able to tell from this that I'm trying to keep in shape. Not too difficult, is it? :)

So, you can try to make a game of it, really. I'll update it about every week, with new Ins and Outs, so keep an eye of for them!

Pepper at Lunch

lol I'm at school right now! XD No, I'm not kidding. It's lunch and I'm being all cool and updating my blog! I know, you love me, but let's get down to busness. Arg! There is no spell-check on this computer! Nooo! Sigh. I'll have to make do.
So last night we had TNB and guess what? We finally got our parts! I already knew that I was an orphan, but now I have a character to play - Pepper. Yup, you ,know the one, right? From Annie? The only three orphans that people remember are Annie, Molly (the littlest) and Pepper (the butch kid who always bullies Molly). So I got a bigger part than JB! Yippy! And, (get this!) in the first scene, me and her character (July - see, you didn't remember her, did you?) get in a fight. So I get to punch JB! :) My friend Cait got the part of Molly, so we're both really happy. Last night I started to high-light my lines in yellow. Why yellow? That's for me to know and you to never know...mwahahahaha!! cough. Okay, so yeah. Kaitlyn is sitting beside me right now, making her own blog. I'll try to get the link and post it here once she's started it. Then you can meet her too!

We just got back from Value Village (Alex, mum and I) and I bought my Halloween costume! I'm going with Tanisha, Kaitlyn and Claire. We're staying over at Nish's house afterwards, too! :) Since there are four of use, we're going as Teletubbies! I'm the purple one, Claire's the green one, Kaitlyn's the yellow one, and Nisha's the red one. I bought matching purple fleece pants and sweater for only $5.99! I love cheap second hand things. And yesterday I went with Kaitlyn and Tanisha after our sleepover, and I hit the jackpot on webkinz! There were, like, ten, and I bought two. I dunno what happened to the rest...there was a cute lil'kinz lion, lil'kinz black poodle, and a webkinz elephant...but somehow I know that I'm getting them for X-mas...lol There were a few more than those, but today I went back to check, and there were absolutely no webbies left for sale.

Oh, speaking of webkinz, I named the two that I got yesterday; the white googles is called Okapi and the pig's name is Edmund (from Narnia!).

Well, I got a little off-topic, but you get the point, right? I got my costume, so I'm all set!

Youth Group - Where's Waldo?

Oh my gosh, this afternoon/evening was so much fun! I went with Kaitlyn to her Youth Group again, and today it was at the mall. Scott and Cathy dressed up in costumes (but we didn't know what they looked like) and then us (the kids) had to find them. We had an hour and a half, and we were in groups of two or three. My group was Kaitlyn, Sidney, and myself. Anyway, Cathy was dressed up as an old lady; she had on the bright colours and saggy boobs (balloons) and she even had a walker! I didn't recognize her AT ALL! And Scott....whoa boy, Scott...was....dressed up as a black guy. Yup, no kidding. He painted his face brown and put on different clothes and we didn't see him 'til the last two minutes! Oh, did I mention? We won! Kaitlyn, Sydney and I all got a free movie pass for the weekend! It has a picture of Harry Potter on it, too! ^_^) Anyway, it was really fun, but my feet hurt really bad now. You know, from all the walking and stuff.

Erg. I was just trying to show my sister a really awesome song, and she's like "couldn't you turn it down a little bit?" Pfft.

Well, I'd better go finish my homework...

Oh! And next week we're having a Halloween party, costumes and everything! Can't wait! ♥

UNB Guys

lol K, so I'm just sitting, animating on the computer, right? The doorbell rings, and so I get up to see who it is. (I'm the only one home right now.) It's these two (not bad-looking) dudes from UNB, and obviously they're doig a fun-raiser or something. So I'm like, "Hi,". And the first guy goes, "Hi. We're from UNB and we're doing...geeze, what are we doing again?" And we kinda laugh. I'm thinking how do you forget what you're doing? You've probably done this about twenty times at least this morning. So anyway, that's it. But I said "Oh, my parents aren't home right now, sorry. Good luck, though!" And then they left.

I'd like to think that they were muddled by my supirior good looks. XD

See you later, I'm about to go babysitting! But it's really weird, because it's not at their normal house. Kate's (the mom) turning 40, so they're having a party for her at their own house. So I'm going to baby sit Iris and Eliza at their mom's sister's house, like, two blocks away. Weird...

My mind is completely black. I can think of nothing to write. Well, obviously I can think of something to write, as I am writing this right now, but nothing I can come up with seems remotely interesting, nor important. Or course, we must also view the fact that "nothing" is something, for anything with a name, at least, must be important enough to be acknowledged. So, when someone says "think about nothing", do they mean to think about the thing "nothing", or could they possibly want to give meaning to the fact that you are supposed to not be thinking about "anything"? Perhaps we simply want to empty our minds of all thoughts, to make it blank and see "nothing" but empty space. But space is indeed something. Anything, any idea or thought, that can be put into words, no matter how simple or complicated, is something. Even most things that cannot be expressed vocally are things, things as I have now mentioned three times in just one sentence. Actually, when you think about it, everything in existence or anything is called a "thing".

But of course, none of this changes the fact that I have nothing to write about.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Unfortunately, I have no time to search Google for a Thanksgiving quote, as I have JUST finished book 6 of Harry Potter (for the third time, of course) and I must start reading the seventh at once! But, I would jus like to say Happy Turkey Day to everyone, and I hope you enjoy it.

I'm thankful for everything I hold dear to me in life and...ooh, sorry, but I really do have to read it now!

Warrior Cats Rule!

Okay, so, it you haven't read Warriors yet, then you haven't yet discovered the meaning of life. I'll give you the quick version.

Warriors (the first series, anyway) is about a cat named Rusty who longs to see the forest. One day, he meets a "wild cat" named Graypaw, and they (obviously) become best friends straight away. (Think of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley) Graypaw tells Rusty all about living in the wild, with his Clan -- ThunderClan. There are four Clans - ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan and ShadowClan. In each Clan there are ranks; kit, apprentice, warrior, deputy, leader, elder, and medicine cat. (I won't go into detail, I'd be here all day because right now there are more than 12 books in the series.) then, suddenly, ThunderClan's leader, Bluestar, appears, and asks if he would like to join ThunderClan. And so, he becomes an apprentice with Graypaw, Ravenpaw, Sandpaw and Dustpaw. Yada yada, it goes on from there.

Yeah, that's right; I'm supposed to be at school right now! But (quite obviously) I'm not! Mwahahahaha! *cough* Well, anyway, my sister asked if I wanted to walk home with her at lunch today, so we did. We have tomorrow and Friday off, too, as well of Monday as you should have read in one of my previous posts. and we only had a Terry Fox assembly the last two periods, so I'm only missing crying my eyes out for someone who is already dead. I know I sound like a total git saying that about Terry Fox of all people, but, well, you know, I've already done my crying for this week. So.

Also, sorry Nisha and Jade for ditching you in art class! But I didn't want to go.

Er, only we got SOAKED on the 45min walk home, so I'm in my Pjs right now, all snug and cozy. I just finished off my hot aplle cider, and now I think I'll just finish this up, and head off to bed to read Harry Potter.

Also, I'm sorry if I don't post on Turkey Day, but we're going to PEI with my uncle all weekend, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to get a hold of a computer with internet...

So, yeah, I'll go before this turns into a RANT post...

Wow. Did you know, (no, I suppose you wouldn't) I cried in two classes today, but not in the one that I was meant to. Weird, hun? So, I couldn't get what the heck we were talking about in Math, and, being me, got overwhelmed and almost cried, but I'm pretty sure no one saw. Which is good. :) And then in science, yeah, don't even get me started. 4 Na6(HO8)3W <-------What the heck?!

Yup, so, that time I only think one person saw. the kid who sits next to me, Randy Oaks, but he pretended not to notice. Which was nice of him, I think.

This was first and second period. Then, in third, we read a story about a 16 year-old guy who was stabbed and killed, and I didn't cry at all.

Things like that are weird, aren't they? It's like when you're supposed to do something because of the rules, and you just don't....

Yup. Okay, that's my rant for today! Okay, it wasn't really a rant.

Oooh! Epiphany! Every time I write something ilke this (short) I'll just give it a title. But when I go on and on and on and on (like my church and Robbie posts) I'll call it a Rant! Yes! Okay, then. See ya later, everyone, who is actually no one!

Hey, guys! Just wanted to update you! (Wait, who are "you"? I don't even think that anyone reads this blog...) It's 7:39am, and I have to leave at 8, but I still have to brush my teeth and make my lunch.

It's a lllloooonnnnngggggg weekend! We get Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday! That's FIVE WHOLE DAYS! Yippy!

See, but Jade and I were going to work on our movie for the Film Festival Thursday at lunch, but now we can't. so, I just might go to her house this weekend (before I go to PEI for turkey day) and then we can work on it then.

Right now I'm reading Harry Potter #4, and it's AWESOME! Although, I've already read it two times...but it still rocks!

Sigh. 7:44. Gotta go brush my teeth.

I think that today, I'm the rabbit.

I really wanted to go to the waffle place, so finally I convinced mu and Al to go with me. And I was so excited, because they are the best thing in the galaxy. Sooooo yummy....! But when we get there, there's only one table left, and you'll never guess who was sitting at the one next to it -- Yup, that's right; Chelsea. Apparently, she had convinced her parents to come, too. And they were just ordering, so they were there the whole time. Obviously, I had to sit in the chair right across from Chels, but at least this way I didn't have to face here, because we were back to back.

But I guess it wasn't all too bad. The tea was gross (nobody should ever try Cinnamon Apple Herbal tea. Ew.), but the waffles were even better than usual. I got a different platter, and it was absolutely ah-mazing! Yum.....!!! And then I got to buy a bag of waffle cookies, too, so that was great. I still have five left!

So, I suppose I wasn't really that unlucky. And I'm not hungry anymore, either.

Luck is really strange, you know? One second everything sucks, then all of a sudden you're floating on a cloud.
